RuneClan's territory is part forest, part plain land. Our camp is deep in the thick forest. It is studded with rocks of various sizes with rune markings on them. Some of the markings light up in the moonlight and shine different colors.
Our "Moonstone" is a large assembly of rocks in the plain land part of our territory, called Light Stones. There are often Twolegs around this site, but as soon as the sun goes down, it's safe for us to visit. Underneath the central stone is a hidden tunnel that is the place that our medicine cat communes with StarClan.
RuneClan originated from a group of rouges that painted marking on their pelts to represent their ranking in the group. Eventually, these rouges formed a clan which they named RuneClan, partly because of the marks on their pelts, and partly because of the stones with intricate carvings that they found all around their territory.
